Should i buy intel processor or wait

i was planning on buying a i5 8400 for my 1080gtx but after all these security flaws ive been reading about idk if i should buy it or wait for more info. What should i do?

Well if you can wait then wait. If you can't then don't. In all likelyness it won't affect gaming. But we aren't sure about that just yet.

All depends on what you have now. Are you content with your current setup, if no then buy now. If you are then wait. Ryzen+ isnt going to drastically change the landscape of cpus so if you want something now the i5-8400 or the ryzen 5 1600 are great options for gaming at the moment. If you do decide the ryzen over the intel then yeah wait for ryzen+ for slightly better performance and hopefully better overclocking.

Oh alright, thanks. I just want a CPU that won't bottleneck the gpu and i wont be overclocking

Big difference between remote vulnerability and having to be at a physical box with AMD. Only major chip issue with AMD with all the latest exploits would be old Athlon chips.

get friends with intel rigs, go to there house if u want to play. 100% safe no security flaw at all and best performance.

Please stop saying that you need physical access in order to exploit it on AMD processors. It is not true.
