Tunnelbear looks to be a good option and I've also had a brief look at Private Internet Access but I'm just wondering what everyone else uses?

I use Private Internet Access. Best bang for your buck if you ask me.

I use Tunnelbear on my phone, always worked great for me, pretty good bandwidth too.

Desktop: i9 11900k, 32GB DDR4, 4060 Ti 8GB 🙂

Psiphon for desktop and BetterNet/Hexatech for mobile. They're not particularly great, but they get the job done.

Tunnelbear. But to be honest, sometimes I use my own VPN (from my router) to download Torrents when I'm not in my country. In my country are based some of the biggest torrents site due the fact that is almost legal(theoretically we have some copyrights but no one is making any complaint about it so you don't have any problem)and with.... I don't know....... 40$? you can get a 1G download and 0.5G upload (these are just speeds, the only limitation that we have on networking)

I just tried tunnelbear, and I am not going to use them. I saw a 91% drop in my speeds. Hard to accept going from 94.03 Mbps down to 7.59Mbps.

I understand they are a paid advertiser but those kinds of drops are not acceptable.

Oh I'm horribly biased towards Microsoft Cloud Services: all in all I do like it. Only thing I hate is the shitty Azure management portal UI. Functionality is great but the side-scrolling UI requires a 34" ultrawide once you start getting into the depths of InTune or something.

I was setting up a VPN connection between my friends business. He moved his webserver but kept the database on-premise. I feels Amazon's its much better, I don't know. Come to think of, I haven't even touched any of them since I set up the VPN connection. o.O

I would recommend HMA, Express or PureVPN instead of PIA or Tunnel Bear. I have seen their comparisons & their reviews as well.

I actually built my own VPN. Renting a cloud server is slightly costly and it does require a bit of technical know-how, but it serves both my blog and my VPN.

I decided to use Private Internet Access (PIA) and it's great, my speeds are basically the same which is great.
