gtx 1060 6gb best cpu

I bought a gtx 1060 6gb. I have a i5 4440. is it a good combination? or do I have to upgrade the cpu. I also have a fx 6300 and a corresponding motherboard for it. please help me with expert opinions

It's an 'okay' combination, you certainly could do with an upgrade though if you don't have the funds to do so then it will be fine as it is.

That I5 you have will be fine until you feel like doing a full upgrade to a new CPU and board.

Desktop: i9 11900k, 32GB DDR4, 4060 Ti 8GB 🙂

It will be fine. However, if you want more performance especially single threaded. Would upgrade. Only the most physics demanding and endless chasms will max your CPU.

i5 is better. If you do want to upgrade but dont have much to spend, look for used 4th gen i7s and Xeon E3 v3s
