Please help with Ballistix Elite ram compatibility and dual channel mode issues?

So it goes like this, i was sick of waiting for the ram and went ahead and bought the Ballistix Elite 1x16 GB ram sticks (2 of them actually) from a retail store. The idea is to run them in dual channel mode as 2x16 GB

The problem is at the place i bought they are only available in 1x16 GB configuration and i bought 2 of them, so now i started to wonder will they be compatible? will they run in dual channel mode without issues? The place i bought is a retail shop and they do not offer any kinda exchanges or refunds so am pretty much stuck with my purchase. I checked my motherboard QVL list and also ram's QVL list and it said the ram is compatible with my board but its listed as a 1x16 GB stick (very similar to what i saw in the retail shop), so i was wondering if they will work cause in dual channel mode as i have bought 2 of them to make them as 2x16 GB.

Please help I am getting highly anxious.

Microsoft in there infinite wisdom have decided to impose a VRAM cap for games the that use DX9 o.O. May God Bless them those whoever came up with that idea.

They'll probably work fine. Kits are just guaranteed to work in their shipped configurations from the manufacturer.

Yes, they will be just fine. It's best to buy them at the same time and from the same place, as changes in the exact components can change.

Wow really ? that really helps relieve some of this tension and anxiety. So they will work in dual channel mode without issues?

I cannot test them yet thnx to my nephew who lost my cpu cooler mounting set yesterday, i am waiting for a new cooler to arrive.

They'll probably work but it's not guaranteed to from the manufacturer.

being it the same model you are certain to have them work, however while it will work some bad consequences like slighlty lower frequency or worse timings happens to stabilize it(not often), the buying a kit thing is just to remove this possibility so it runs on the XMP profile speed always.

I found this memory to be quite decent, while my darned G.Skill died on me my brother borrow me this Crucial Elite thingy one and yeah no complains aside it being just 4gb :P

well the fact that i cannot return it or get refund if anything happens and the only way to get a replacement is to RMA it is driving me crazy and making me overthink of the consequences which is getting me very anxious.

i can live with slightly slower frequency and a bit higher latency as long as they work at this point.

Curious question thought ... I always wanted to ask ever since you mentioned your G.Skill ram died a few days ago. How did it happen?

Just a faulty stick out of the 2x8gb kit, system simply can't boot up with it, the other one works perfectly fine, if you think RMA is bad do imagine I had to send it with all the documentation and all through international shipping from Brazil to USA having to get there within 30 days or the rma number becomes invalid.

When I bought it I used it on a h110m at default 2133mhz it worked 16gb fine then but already only in single channel, when i moved to the z370m it simply no longer booted the system, tried on my brother's X370 - Ryzen 7 and also nothing... meh... retailer's 6 months warranty was done already so the lifetime G.Skill warranty was the only way.

Literally every thing can go wrong lol! but If they do send me a new kit it was worth it because ram prices sky rocket like crazy...

Why didnt you returned the ram when you found out they were faulty? God that is such a pain to do international RMA, its just soo hectic. I myself personally never depend on the warranty cause its a pain anyway and i cannot let my work suffer cause of hardware issues (they take soo long) i am always mentally prepared to just go buy a replacement than waiting for them to honor my warranty but i cannot do that right now, i am spent and exhausted all my available funds in setting up my office and buying this PC.

EDIT - shit i forget to say this. Well dw lets just hope everything goes fine.
