Hello, so i have accidentally bought SO-DIMM ddr4 8gb ram and I can't find a motherboard that will support an Intel pentium G4560 and SO-DIMM ram. I am purchasing the parts for a new pc since my current one cant run any games. So far i Purchased a GPU and this ram and i cant return it cause it was ebay. Is there a Motherboard that supports them two? cause i really want to find one and im sad.

It's not worth trying to find a board that supports SO-DIMMs, just sell them and get a kit of DIMMs.

To be clear, I don't know if this works, I have no experience with this and I don't know if it works, BUT

You can order adapters from a normal DIMM-slot to a SO-DIMM slot, again, NO IDEA if they work, but they exist.

I guess it's worth giving a try?

I've seen those adapters for DDR3, however I have yet to see one for DDR4.

i bought a bunch of DDR3 adapters and they work just fine. 

 

you can see them working in the video i made about it - it's in german but i also added english subtitles (sorry for shameless self promotion but i did not find a lot of videos from other people about it)
