Which PSU brand has better warranty in Canada?

osuman

I'm having a hard time deciding between EVGA B2 and Rosewill Capstone($10 more because of shipping). Both are under tier 2 list.

Does anyone know which of these companies offer better warranty in Canada?

Also what brands are generally best to get in Canada?

It's North America, so whatever's good in America is generally good in Canada. Both should be fine.

You shouldn't be deciding between the two because one has a better warranty than another.  The Capstone is just a superior PSU in almost every single way except for the fact that the EVGA is semi-modular and the Capstone is not.

The capstone, and capstone G are often confused. I wouldn't imagine someone would be comparing a modular and a non modular PSU if they their felt like they were of similar build.

Deciding by the Warranty is just dumb.

You first decide by the electrical performance, Noise, Fan and so on.

And the LAST thing you do is think about the warranty.

Because you can't know if a company is around in 10 years or even 5 years.
Because you can't know how a company will handle your RMA request in 5 years.

Everything else is more important.

Especially since you don't want to use the warranty ever!

So you should make your descision on things you want to use!

What should I get then? Which one of these is better? As I mentioned both psus are under tier 2 list, I don't know anything else.

Both seem to be quiet as far as I can tell. Newegg reviews show more people having a Rosewill capstone unit that failed within 2 month.

Newegg reviews only represent about 10% of the customers.  90% of the customers don't write reviews.  And of that 90%, 90% of those have no problems with the product.

That's typical of any product.  Not just one brand of PSU.
