There are sales going on all the time but the best ones come around the holidays, wait for xmas and the big holidays for the super awesome sales.

Go to humble bundle if you want to start you PC game library off well. But wait until christmas for steam to put everything on sale. Steam has 4 massive sales a year (seasonal) so you should always save up until those.

Buy the valve complete pack when it goes on sale for $50 this year, I would do that if I did not own half the games. It has all the countersrikes, half lifes, Left for deads, portals and a bunch of other great valve games.

Every steam sale, normally it is 100, but it goes to 50. I know the sale will start around Christmas and end around New Years. Also looking at your build in your sig I have a similar one!

I'm guessing next weekend, on the 19th or 20th. Don't quote me on that though, 'tis just speculation from a man who never remembers or pays much attention to dates (dried fruit, women and calenders - all of the dates).

I know Steam gives us great deals but have you tried Green Man Gaming, I get a E voucher weely it can be for 20% or even 25% of games, making them cheaper then Steam and most of them are steam codes anyway so you just add the codes in to Steam and your sorted 

 

Am just saying there is other options out there for PC games.

I would wait on that, last Summer Sale I bought my friend the Valve complete pack for $33, the first and lowest price I've ever seen it.

 

I'm going to assume they are going to do it again for this Christmas.

 

Also, supposedly the Winter Sale is going to start on the 19th, as a PayPal source has stated.
