i5 7600 or ryzen 5 1600?

Im building a new Gaming PC and that about it im pairing the cpu with a gtx 1070ti Fe what would push more frames with the stock cooler

From there two I would choose ryzen, but if it was 8th gen i3 vs ryzen I would get i3, because you have quite good upgrade path ahead with strong ipc cpus

8th gen i3 has same performance as 7th gen i5

new i3 have 4c4t same as old i5

i3-8100 4c 4t with z370 , 120$ for cpu and 120$ for mobo or i5 8400 6c 6t which costs 200$

these processors only work on z370
