Can I use any  DDR4 2400 Mhz Ram with it

Plz Help.........;)

Intel's Coffee Lake IMC is soooooo good just about any memory should work at least stock settings.

It lacks simultaneous multithreading, which is still a hit and miss feature. Even if the application can take advantage of it, the most I've seen it improve things on reviews is about 20%

So I mean, if the numbers it gives are worth something to you, then that's all there is to say about it.

EDIT: I guess you can't overclock it via the multiplier, but eh. I never really found overclocking to be a deal breaker these days due to a combination of things that I won't get into.

Though Intel ridiculously price most of its processors ...but in the case of Intel i5 8400 ...they have priced it fairly well.

Is it really worth it ???? Or does it lacks something...I mean any major drawbacks of it

it's priced that way because of the ryzen r5 1600, the 200dollar range is the one spot where intel loses, if you can get a 1600 to 3.8 stable, it beats a 8400 hands down with the extra threads. The 8400 should have been clocked at 4.3-4.5 at this price range to be competitve, not 4.0(they could fix this with a i3 4c/8t cpu but they choose not to)

for the 300-400dollar range it's 8700/8700k

Generally I think intel clocked the 8400 too low and 8700 too high (the 8700 is one helluva deal)

But then SMT doesn't bring much of a difference in performance I guess

I'm curious, which CPUs do you think are ridiculously overpriced?

I've got 2 options

1) intel i7500 Build

2) Intel 8400 Build

the 2) Build cost's 62.64 USD Extra Is it really Worth that Extra Money

I know there would be difference in the performance but is that difference Considerably  noticable that I Should go for

Intel i5 8400 .

I'm a Mild Gamer  But Mostly  be using this Pc for Android Studio  .
