Gaming pc parts advice (Sub £650)

ArthurCorp

Hi. I'm looking to upgrade my current laptop to a gaming pc, capable of running games like Grand Theft Auto on decent graphics at 60+FPS. My budget is £650, and I have windows and a monitor covered. I would like atleast a GTX 1060 hopefully, if this is possible within my budget. My current thoughts are a Ryzen 5? I would only need 8gb ram, and I don't have many games so big storage isn't necessary.

Thanks - Arthur

yeah maybe the 980 is cheaper since it is used, just beware of the condition of the used 980 @ArthurCorp

It shouldn't affect performance though should it? I wouldn't need a PSU that high would I?

no basically it is just the matter of how efficient will your PC draw powaar (efficiency rating). For PSU quality the CXM does still stand out nicely

The grey labels do, the green labels should be avoided ideally.

Thanks - I will. One last thing, why don't I use a R 1600 for an extra £10 or so?
