$400 is not worth manual labor to build a pc like that. Unless they're hardline-watercooling it.

850 watts is more than enough, probably 650-750 is what you should look towards. And with your budget you should really look into M.2 SSDs.

I would spend a lot less on premium stuff like those WD Blacks or Dominator Platinum RAM, and instead try to squish out a 3 monitor surround setup or even think about a comfortable chair and desk. That's all I can say for now though, gotta go and Merry Christmas from your favorite shrike!

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

What do you suggest in replacement of the Dominator Platinum and the WD Blacks?

I want at least 2 TB of space, and 1 backup. Should I go for the 5400RPM?

Edit: I am choosing to go with the G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4 3000Mhz (I'm not sure if the 3200Mhz is necessarily better for gaming / noticeable). This saved me like $50 :D

Thanks!

Also I don't like more than 1 monitor for some reason :/

I think M.2 is not worth it right now. I'll try lowering the wattage and how much it costs

I specced a similarly priced build with an m.2, and the price difference is minor in such a price bracket.

What is the best Power Supply (750 watts)?

EVGA, Corsair, coolermaster or seasonic?

Edit: I picked the EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750W
