Custom water cooling case recommendations needed

DeathPheonix

I want to swap out my current H440 for a different case. The case will need to fit the following :

One 60mm thick 360 rad

one 25mm thick 250 rad

rump/resivor combo

budget is around 150usd and preferably a mid tower case, or something slightly larger than that would be ok.

Thanks and happy holidays

I don't think the R6 would fit an 60mm rad up front with support for 3.5 inch drives though

core x5 and i think lian li alpha 550

Doesn’t seem that alpha 550 can handle a 60mm rad though

The view 71 with the blue led fans is close to your budget.

View 71 is a full tower though isn't it. I think I'll be looking at the R6

problem with the r6 is going to be air flow through the front panel like all r-series have had since the inception.

im waiting for the define 6s (without the door or return of the arc-series).

the door is cute, but all of that for access to an antiquated ODD is more spent than necessary.

ditch the door!

the solid front panel should have openings like the 400/600 carbide gapping slots for airflow promotion.

Will the airflow be better or worse than the H440? Sometimes I feel the H440 is also hindering airflow. But I'm guessing bottom intake fans on the R6 will help keep the mobo temp down as my graphics card and CPU are both water-cooled I think

Yeah it is, and I think that fan hub has really mixed reviews right now. Might go with the R6
