A Corsair CX450M would be fine for overclocking. No need for a 650W or 750W PSU for a card with a 6-pin...

|PSU Tier List /80 Plus Efficiency| PSU stuff if you need it.

450w to 500w ones are enough. FX6300 can chew a lot of power when overclocked, but not the 960.

We ain't talking about Skylake X!

So pls stop confusing those two.

 

The FX isn't as bad as you make them out to be, compared to modern HEDT CPUs...

 

And the question is the board, wich one @benchmarker has right now.

Some are just abysmal for OC, they have problems even at stock because the manufacturer cheaped out on the CPU VRM (heatsinking)...

Seems like a good board with good VRM as well.
