For just gaming?

Assuming it is:

Swap the 1700 for a 1600.

Swap the 1070 for a 1070 Ti.

Swap the HDD for a 7200 RPM one.

Swap the SSD for a decent SATA SSD, like the MX300, SL308 or 850 Evo.

Swap the motherboard for the Prime Pro.

Swap the RAM for a cheaper kit.

Swap the PSU for a cheaper unit. Whether it's the 550W version, or if it's a cheaper but equivalent PSU. 

Try to get a monitor with G-sync

You could probably do 1440p60 on an R5 1600. That looks like a pretty good build, although I personally would drop the aftermarket CPU cooler and just use the stock cooler.
