How does that work exactly? They don't get to just create coins to replace the lost ones and they cannot get the lost coins back, these had to have come from somewhere.

This is going to be commonplace for crypto. I honestly don't see how people think this currency will be anything other than a hobby. It has everything going against it.

People don’t care what it is if itcan make them rich, I bought some bitcoin cash yesterday and alredy made $800 on it in less then 24 hours. Gotta love the crazy ups and downs.

Yeah crypto right now is crazy if done right can be some nice profit. Honestly almost every coin can probably make you money if you keep it as a long term investment.

Well they said that they've reworked their security from the ground up but they haven't said how they were even originally hacked so i'm a bit unsure but honestly as long as I can withdraw what I mined it's good.

You should check their statement again, I doubt people will see their money on the 31st ;

Word on the street is BUYERS will get their coin balance back, SELLERS can pound sand and eat shit. but time will tell.

 

I still wont be going back, or do i recommend nicehash to anyone. Nicehash, while profitable-ish. is flawed right from the get go, and since its been down, i have now seen what can be done by mining direct. I'll be sticking to and recommending that.

What alternatives have you used interested in mining but not sure if I'll be going back to nicehash after iI reach the amount that will allow me to withdraw.

Since the nicehash hack, i have stuck with the bbt multi-miner (really just a tool with multiple miners in a bat file you can select from after editing the bat file with you wallet addresses for all the different coins)

 

I mined electroneum for 2 days, got around 300 coins there, and since then have been dual-mining eth/dcr and have been impressed with the outcome so far. I promised my self i would stick to 1 coin for the month of december, to see what happened outside of Nicehash (although i did spend 2 days doing a quick mine on electroneum). I wanted to get some 'coin' stock back, before i played with mining multiple coins and doing some coin trading.

Does not work for AMD RX 580 and Bitcoin is Trash! i mine Ether and Nanopool they take fee but at least they know good and i invested in BCH Bitcoin Cash cause it's much better than Bitcoin in ANY way 

 

The fees are too damn High the exchange is too damn high the tax cut is too damn high everything of Bitcoin is
