Premiere is significantly more advanced but this copy of Vegas is only $20 which is an insane deal.

I went from Vegas 14 to Premiere after getting a student account for CC. Vegas did everything I needed to do with easy controls (it was a matter of dragging my mouse across a video to make it slo-motion). Adobe on the other hand, is so much more powerful. Its so powerful, that I don't even feel comfortable exploring it. Vegas made it fun for me to add text animation to video among other things, but i'm too overwhelmed to explore these things in premiere. Basically, Vegas makes you comfortable, while Premiere challenges you to become what you aspire to.

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

Its been noted that Vegas is less complex and advance then Premier but i think it should be noted that Vegas is no windows movie maker either. It is still extremely powerful, even if much simpler than Premier. There are a few fairly big youtubers that use vegas (idubbz and demoltiond+ off the top of my head), it is an extremely capable editing software.

It costs $399 and is not down to $20. Only you can judge if that is worth it for you.

Is this the full version of Vegas or is it a subscription for $20 a month?

No subscription. Buy it and it's yours.

I mentioned it to a friend that's getting into editing and he was wondering since there are options to buy the whole thing or subscribe. Thanks for the clarification.
