Spider cracks in reservoir

Hey LTT, I have a 80mm tube res from Koolance that has spider cracks on it. I can not feel them and they are inside of the material. Should it be safe to use as long as it does not crack any further? Thanks guys.P1060017.thumb.JPG.a0cc6589e9cddecbb802aa19672487db.JPG

Edit: Decided to go with this instead to save a few bucks instead of a more expensive tube.

I definitely wouldn't risk it. You're just asking for trouble if you run that.

I'm gonna try to run it over night by plumbing the thing back into itself with distilled water to both clean the pump and test it out. Worst case scenario it breaks and i just get another res because the pump top I have actually has g1/4 threading inside of it.

Alright, so it turns out there's taller tubes for the res on performance-pcs that I actually like so I'm probably going to go with those.

if it cracked this much, it'll probably crack further. don't risk it, especially when a reservoir is one of the cheaper parts of a loop (compared to blocks, pump, etc.)

I'm almost confident it was because of overtightening because I had to use vicegrips to just even take off the bottom part. I bought it used and cheap anyhow and I plan on replacing it with a much bigger tube now .

I was thinking that at first, but I might as well get the bigger tube as I really want it anyway so it's an excuse for me to spend an extra 20.

Don't risk it.  Once you get temp changes in the liquid those cracks will grow.
