Sorry i keep forgetting to show how much. It would be ~$280. Also I'm looking for an nvidia gpu bc they seem to work better with mc shaders.

might aswell go for the 3080 which usually go for ~350$ and since this is the used market you can haggle them down abit

After some research, a used 3070 at ~$280 seems like a pretty good value. I'm not really worrying about vram bc i'll be playing at 1080p on minecraft and valorant. It also fits my budget of ~$300-$400. Before i pull the trigger, I just want to get some clarification.

What about 6750 XT, 2080 Ti, 7700 XT, 6800 (XT)?

How much for 3070?

For under 400$ you can get brand new 7700 XT and for ~300$ brand new 6700 XT.

I would say so, they are a great option now as everyone wants to get rid of them as they upgrade to the 40 series

Quite powerful for the price

What's you psu?

Console.WriteLine("Hello World!");

280 sounds fine, I don't know much about the US used market, but the price/performance sounds decent with the small downside of being used

Are there any similar options that would still fit by budget of $300-$400 while being better value?

well you could obviously pay more for more fps,

also are you getting several parts or building entire PC? because there's a sub-forum for that

you can check out relative raster performance comparison, as well as their details though you probably don't care about details just the performance,

here https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-rtx-3070.c3674

and if you click on any GPU in that chart, it takes you to it's page with the performance set to 100%, just make sure not to open too many pages too fast of different GPUs or they will think you a bot and hit you with are you a robot questions

Sorry to revive a dead thread but would a 3080 be overkill for 1080p in 2024?

probably abit overkill but i assume youll get a better monitor at some point so you wont be left with a gpu thats too weak to drive a higher resolution
