Budget (including currency): 1500 usd

Country: US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Elden Ring, Rainbow 6, Cyberpunk

Other details:  Playing on 1440p 144hz monitor, made a parts list rly quick, am I overlooking anything?

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6v3XcH

Below I put comments next to parts with my thought process

CPU:    AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 4.7 GHz 6-Core (5800x3d seems overkill so went with this)

CPU Cooler: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 56.3 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler (may be overkill, but these are so cheap and quiet) Otherwise, could do like Syth Fuma 3 for $50 and get a smaller case

Motherboard: MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard (picked something cheap that had all the IO I need and was compatible with rest of parts)

Memory: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-5600 CL28 Memory (seemed alright)

Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive (need 2tb storage, I know samsung makes good drives)

Video Card: Gigabyte GAMING OC V2 GeForce RTX 4070 12 GB Video Card (want nvidia, I know the gigabyte gaming oc version of the 4070 is solid)

Case: Phanteks XT PRO ULTRA ATX Mid Tower Case (looks alright, cheap, and has 4 fans)

Power Supply: Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 TT Premium 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (650w probably where I should be, if yall have good recomendations, send em this way)

What do yall think? What should I change?

Edit: looking at other builds, the watercooling is definatly overkill. Please suggest other coolers 🙂

they are overkill, you could get 35$ cooler that can cool 7800x3D pretty decently,

you can drop the price by going just Ti instead,

it's an A-tier gold text PSU, it doesn't need ATX 3.0 we are not running RTX 4090s here,

same CPU, but you can pick up the 7600x if you want, it's just slightly faster 7600 that's also slightly more power hungry

The ATX 3.0 psu's include the PCIe 5.0 12VHPWR connector which is a plus when using these RTX 40XX cards.

cards that require 12VHPWR connector should come with that connector included in the box
