I think you're thinking of x370. B350 is usually better though because they are cheaper and you can still overclock. x370 main selling point is sli

It's probably showing it supports AMD CrossFire, which is a graphics card thing.

Since you bought a z370 board which is geared more for overclockers you would be overpaying for the board. You should really pair it with a 8th gen 'k' cpu. If you aren't comfortable overclocking you might wanna consider getting a different board. It would work fine though. Sadly they haven't launched the b360, h370 line yet.

AMD makes more than just CPUs FYI, they also make GPUs, which is what crossfire is for.

the prime p is a terrible overclocker anyway, 8700 is the perfect choice, save the money on heatsinks too.
