i have a evga supernova 650nex but the problems is i have none of the cables for it is it possible to buy just a cable set for it or do i have to buy a new psu

No and no.

The G1 actually have rather good safety features, quality is also nothing to worry about.


However it is group regulated, wich means that +5V and +12V comes out of the transformer and if something happens on +12V it affects +5V in some way and vice versa. Its just not a good idea for modern PCs.

 

And that is a rather huge point, rather the nail in the coffin of the unit. 

And what makes it to something you don't really want to use...
