Hey guys, I get 1418 in cinebench r15 multi core @stock

Is it good enough or should I change something? I saw Screenshots of people getting 1435+  allegedly @stock

My 8700k stock score after turning on XMP using 16 GB @ 3200 Mhz is 1561 without XMP i get 1464.

so yeah, your scores are slightly less, but then again it could be just the margin of performance in these chips.

Memory frequency and timing has importance as well, try getting your ram to 3200mhz at CL 14 or 15 and you'll see your scores increase even at #Stock on the CPU.

dont just recommend ppl to tighten their timings, unstable ram can blow up os's and just by tightening first timings u can actually do that instantly if u dont know what ur doing,

CL + TRCD + TRP = TRAS < and much more rules for stability there, too much to explain in a short answer

short said, dont just go tightening ur ram timings and think its k

Check the Cinebench score thread in the CPU sub forum, it has a video on the first post with a 'how to best run Cinebench'-like video. It basically shows you how to run Cinebench in safe mode with all kinds of stuff turned off to make sure background processes aren't influencing your score.

But my post was basically a long way of saying 'background processes can influence your score and make it so some people have a higher score'.

Just can't seem to get past 1420. How can some people geht 1450 or even 1500? :(

There are a lot of stuff that could be the case, this is nothing but 1's and 0's that are nothing but electrical discharges, you can't have a perfect mimic for every 8700k there is, silicon purity, other components, temperatures and so on will weight
