2TB HDD shows up as external

Hey gang, I bought a 2TB HDD about 8 months ago and ever since I re-installed Windows 10 onto my SSD the 2TB Hard Drive has shown up in my Safely Remove hardware. I haven't ejected it for fear of corruption of data but I would like to know is there a way I can get it to NOT show up here as it is an INTERNAL HDD connected by SATA and not an EXTERNAL HDD.image.thumb.png.a33ba0b89f2db6a614ea4ff26a3c41a6.png

Yeah that Happened with my internal Drive. 

 

Had to reinstall windows for it to go away.

Check your BIOS to see if you have hot-swap enabled on the drive and disable it if it is. That should help.

I had that happen with an internal PNY 1TB,
