Hello. Is that psu enough for ryzen 3 1200 and gt 1030?

Is it efficient? I know about an efficiency curve that maximizes when psu has 50% load. What do you think? Thanks in advance.

Why would you buy that PSU? If your case is custom and only supports flexATX PSUs, then it's fine. Otherwise, absolutely not.

Yes, more than enough. I'm using that exact PSU in a SFF sleeper build with an i7-6700T and a GTX 1050 Ti, and I have lots of room to spare.

Beware, it emits a moderate buzzing whine at all times. It is a server PSU, after all.

DO NOT get the PSU you mentioned because

1) You can spend much less than that and not have to worry.

2) That case does not support that PSU form factor.

I don't know what your needs are, but I'm pretty sure these PSUs will suit you perfectly:

This isn't true and you should never buy a PSU based on it's "efficiency curve." There's a stupid number of other factors that determine how much power your PC is actually using, when your particular unit is most efficient, etc. It's worthless to bother with it. Just get the best unit you can get for your money.

Can you get a Corsair CX450 or CX450M?

It's got more RAM and a Cryorig C7 instead of the Rosewill cooler now, and the cable management is slightly less atrocious, but that's it. Case is from an HP Slimline s3200n

Well, I already said both are good. Either one is a fine choice. I would go for the first option if I were you (given your component selection), but if you plan to eventually upgrade the components in your computer to something that is somewhat power hungry then the second option might save you in electricity costs over time. The second option is definitely the overall better PSU, but I don't think it is justified in powering <100w of maximum total system power consumption.

That's a myth.

Probably because 80plus.org only test on these three points and there 50% is the best. But thats only half the truth - if at all.

Because many modern PSU are most efficient between 30 and 60, sometimes 70% load. and we are talking about differences of 1%, maybe 1,5%.

And thats with 115VAC, with 230VAC its even worse - you can just ignore it because most modern PSU don't even have a curve but more like a line with a slight bump. Really doesn't matter between 20 and 80% load...

The CX450M has more PCIe power connections and is semi-modular, while it has a sleeve-bearing fan (not so great).

The CX450 is not modular, has only one 8-pin PCIe power connection, and has a better fan.

Your call. Both are good units.
