Depends on price. But yes, it is good if you are just gaming, personaly I would avoid TN if possible though.

I would go for IPS but most of the IPS monitors have slightly higher response time . TN is better when it comes to response time . what would you choose better colors or lower response time ?!

Just ignore the respone time advertised number... it is meaningless.

if just for gaming , IPS panels claim a 4ms response time, TN can be as low as 1ms. this is why TN panels still dominate in the gaming arena, since the quicker response response time makes for a far clearer picture when there is fast movement on-screen.

And that is not true. The advertised response time speeds are GTG and that means nothing when you play a game.

Most of the high refresh rate IPS panels have as low actual response time as most TN panels. Also, IPS panels have quite a bit lower input lag than TN panels.

As to which monitor OP should pick... idk. I think that QNIX has some nice high Hz IPS Free-Sync monitors but I have not tried them.

I own a xl2720z, 1440p 144hz freesync, I went for the TN panel for 1 ms response time.

Then I upgrade my GPU to a 1080ti, I bought a Predator XB271HU 1440p 165hz Gsync monitor, it is a IPS panel with 4ms response time.  To be honest, I never notice any difference between 1ms and 4ms.  But the image quality on these two panels are drastically different. Personally, I will pick a IPS panel anyday for now.
