New build $1500 Budget. Need help choosing parts

Carithus

Hi guys, just about to help my friend build his first PC. He has a budget of $1500.

Was wondering what everyone thought of this build and what I could do to save some money on it.

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/hZWD6X

we're only purchasing from amazon and memoryexpress as that'ss the fastest and easiest way for us to get the parts.
He absolutely needs a network card in there because his router is located in a shitty place that he can't run a wire to.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

If you can get higher clocked memory get it, Ryzen LOVES higher clocked ram

That system can be powered by under 500watt so downgrade that to have more money for higher clocked ram :)

edit:

This could be a smart choice 35$ saved without losing anything (unless he's going to sli)

I know this is personal preference but I'm just going to throw it out there, for a bit more you can get a better looking probably also better motherboard with inbuilt wifi
