If you have an Nvidia GPU you can use Nvidia Shadowplay

AMD has something like Shadowplay too, and it is way better and easier to use,but sadly because i got a 4k screen i had to get a nvidia gpu. Shadowplay is not bad either, but it has its glitches and you have to make a nvidia account to use it.

I use OBS although tbh sometimes I wish there was more competition since OBS on Windows doesn't follow best practices and stores stuff in AppData and the Registry and etc.

OBS on Mac or Linux is fine though.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

if you are looking to record short clips use shadowplay. if you want to record full matches use OBS

Well in that case I'd use Shadowplay (built into GeForce Experience), it's very easy on system resources and is very user friendly with lots of settings to change.
