Asrock ryzen 5 build

Sinisterweed

I just order a ASRock AB350M Pro4 AM4 AMD Promontory B350 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard.  It has 2 m.2 slots available.  One rated for 32gb/s and one 6 gb/s.  I am pretty confused about what the difference is between the different storage options for the m.2 slots.  I'm hoping someone can explain which kind of storage I should buy to maximize the potential of the 1 x Ultra M.2 Socket (M2_1), supports M Key type 2242/2260/2280 M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen3 x4 (32Gb/s) (with Ryzen Series CPU) or Gen3 x2 (16Gb/s) (with A-Series APU)**

Thanks

To maximize the potential of the Ultra M.2 slot, you would be looking at NVME SSDs like the Samsung 960 PRO, Samsung PM961, Samsung 960 EVO, Intel 600p, WD Black M.2 or OCZ RD400. Others will also work well.
