What is the preferred choice

WaelT

I'm looking into getting a new keyboard and for now the options are as follow:

  • Logitech - G910 ORION SPECTRUM RGB
  • CORSAIR - K70 RGB Rapidfire
  • CORSAIR - Strafe RGB MX Silent
  • Razer - BlackWidow Chroma V2

I really don't have experience comparing keyboards or how to decide which one is better. Essentially all of them have positive reviews (BestBuy customer reviews)

I would like to have some input on which Keyboard to go with

Thank you

K70; But if you like Romer-G switches then you really only have one choice. I'd recommend going some irl location and try and compare the different switches (Cherry MX reds, browns, blues and the aforementioned romer-g switches)

I'd have to agree with dizmo here about the G.Skill KM780 or KM780R (he actually was the one that sold me on this keyboard). The build quality is solid and it is quite feature rich. The RGB version is kind of limited in its lighting effects, but if you don't care about RGB you can just get the red LED backlit one instead (it's only $64.99 with Cherry MX Browns at the moment, which is a pretty good deal).

Out of the ones you have selected at the moment, I'd go with the STRAFE or K70 (Go with the STRAFE if you don't care about media keys).

If you like Logitech's Romer-G switches, I'd go with the G413 instead, because it just simply has better build quality. However Logitech's keyboards tend to lack the robust feel and features of many other keyboards at their price point, so that's why I looked elsewhere for a mechanical keyboard despite prefering the Romer-G switches a little bit more than Cherry MX Brown switches.
