I NEED HELP! With 1070

Hi I have a psu with 2x 6pin connectors for the gpu but the gpu has 1x 8pin slot what do I do? can i just plug one for the 6pin connectors into the gpu and will it still work>?

Use a two 6pin to one 8pin adapter instead. Make sure it's well built though. 1070 wont work with only a 6pin.

Probably a pretty old PSU if it doesn't have the 6+2 pin breakout type cables. Which one is it? (make and model, not just wattage)
