upscale really low res image

i have a really low res image, is there any way to upscale it and make it still look ok?

Um.. if you're super good at Photoshop it Gimp, maybe. But when you upscale it, you're going to make it more pixelated. Not much sound that as far as in aware. Better quality originals?

 

You could always turn it into pixel art I guess.

Upscaling can work. Someone (namely OP) needs to fill in new, currently nonexistent material though.

There is a way, but it'll probably be more effort than it's worth in this case.
