Does QHD make sense on 13"

IAmAndre

Hi,

I'm considering getting an HP Envy 13. There are different configurations, and I'm torn between two models both having the same specs (dual core i7, 8GB RAM, 256GB Nvme SSD) except for the screen resolution: 1080p vs 1800p. There's no big difference in price either since there are sales on both websites. However, if I can get some extra battery life with the 1080p model, I would go for it because I personally don't think there would be a huge difference in terms of visuals but I've never used a laptop with such a resolution. I'll be using it mainly for productivity: content writing, coding, video editing. This will be a secondary laptop though, I'll be using my desktop most of the time

Let me know your thoughts.

I've set my 1080p 13inch laptop to 125% scaling. Previously I had a 14inch laptop with a screen resolution of 3200 x 1800 I believe which I had to keep set at 200% DPI scaling.

On a screen that small 1440p would be the highest resolution I'd opt for personally.
