1440p Gaming monitor

Brony

So I've got 2 monitors in mind, the Asus PG279Q ROG Swift and the Acer Predator XB1, what's the difference between the two and is it justifiable to spend that much more extra for the Asus monitor? The GPU I'm getting is the Gigabyte GV-N108TTURBO-11GD and should be able to take AAA title games like Destiny 2 and Star Wars Battlefront 2 fine. I'm also getting an I5-8600K CPU. If there is a different monitor that you guys would suggest, let me hear it. Thanks guys.

AOC AG271QG

is using a newer version of the same panel as ASUS PG279Q and is cheaper and has a lot better stand

Just a 1440p monitor, I don't care about g sync and yeah, it's a 1080ti. Refresh rate at least 145 if possible.

So now it's AOC AG271QG vs the Acer Predator XB1 I guess.

When the monitor released and I was browsing reviews, I found 3 reviews that mentioned this... anyway, they all source their AH-IPS panels from AU Optronics so maybe ASUS also did new revision with the newer panels. Either way, there is no point in buying the ASUS one if it costs so much more. Same goes for Acer. I would just pick the cheaper of the 3. They are pretty much the same monitor but in a different package.
