PC Case recommendation for new build

AZwiftW

Does anyone have any PC case recommendations for me?

I am new to the PC building world, and I am building my first PC, that can run Zwift at Ultra 4K at 100+ FPS. I am struggling to find a suitable case though. Haven’t purchased any of the components yet, so if need be I can make alterations.

I am not a fan of a Full Tower, I much rather a smaller form factor case, definitely no bigger than a Mid Tower. I definitely want case filters, and would prefer sound dampening on the panels.

My current intended build is as follows:

PSU: Corsair RM650i 650W 80PLUS Gold Modular Power Supply

CPU: i7 8700K

RAM: G.Skill 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 Trident 3200mhz

SSD: Samsung 960 EVO 250GB (M.2)

FANS:  as many as I can fit in the case (Probably Corsair ML140mm and ML120 Premium Magnetic Levitation Fans)

I have yet to decide on which motherboard I will get, but I have narrowed it down to 2 choices, and I will make a choice based on what case I choose.

MOBO 1 (Mini ITX): ASUS ROG Strix Z370-I Gaming Motherboard

Or

MOBO 2 (Mirco ATX): MSI Z370M Gaming Pro AC Motherboard

For my CPU cooled I want a 280mm AIO cooled, I want to get the Corsair H115i and then screw on another 2 additional 140mm fans to make it push & pull, so my CPU radiator and 2 fans would make it very thick and require a lot of room.

CPU Cooler: 280mm AIO cooler (probably a Corsair H115i CPU Cooler)

As for my GPU, compared to everyt0hing else on my build list, my choice of a GTX 1050 Ti may seem a little bit cheap, but I am hoping the GTX 2080 will be better or at least just as powerful as the GTX 1080 Ti, so next year I will be replacing the 1050 Ti as soon as an AIO cooled GTX 2080 is released. I am guessing a GTX 2080 AIO cooled card will be the same size as a 1080 Ti AIO cooled card, so I will need to accommodate for a 270-290mm card, with a 120mm radiator, and again much like the CPU, the 120mm GPU cooler I want to attach a 2nd fan for a push/pull configuration.

GPU: GTX 1050 Ti (Replace with AIO cooled GTX 2080)

I am guessing a lot of people will think that it is excessive for me to want for bulky Push/Pull AIO radiators for both my GPU and CPU, but this rig is not just for 4K gaming of AAA titles, but also Zwifting in my garage, which the ambient temps during summer in there can hit 40 degrees Celsius. I might also try some mild over clocking of the GPU and CPU a bit further down the line.

Even though its completely unrelated to a case choice, my monitor will be my current TV for now until 100hz+ 4K 32-43 inch TVs/Monitors with HDMI 2.1 are released early next year.

Also if you find anything wrong with my component list compatibility wise, please let me know, as I said I have never built a PC before , I have only ever owned laptops, so everything I know, I have only learnt during the last 2 weeks from the internet.

Fractal Design Define Nano S for the ITX board

-Frequencies DON'T represent everything and in many cases that is true (referring to Individual CPU Clocks).

Why only mATX/ITX motherboards? It sounds like you want a 280mm + 120mm radiators so your case will have to be pretty big anyway.... so why not an ATX board?

Since you're going to be putting in HOT hardware, I dont recommend the S340, P400, or other cases that dont have good enough airflow. You'l want something with GOOD airflow, not just decent. For that reason, I recommend anything with an open mesh front panel.

Fractal Meshify C (might not be able to do push/pull)

Phanteks Enthoo Pro M TG (can definitely do push/pull)

Cooler Master Master Case 5

Also, in theory, you'd be looking at the "2070/1170" (whatever they call it) for the next GPU, Since the last three "generation differences" have been similar (1070=980ti, 970=780ti, etc)
