Got my first build - need opinions

So, i got this pc already built. So far i think everything is ok except the ram.At least i think so. At the time i got the components i couldn't find anything higher than 2400mhz.

My question is, what would be the worst thing that could happen because of the ram except the fact that i would have 10 or 20 fps higher with 3000 mhz ram?
Should i change the ram as fast as possible or i can just leave it there for some time.
Except that some overall opinions and or tips aboaut the build would help.
   Thank you for your time!

Why a B350 board for a 1700? X370 may help with better overclocking.

Where did you get that 10-20FPS number? At most I would say you would get like 5 more FPS. Ram speeds are fairly arbitrary.

Nooo Noooo Nooo!

That is the WORSE GTX 1080 Ti in existence, it is a shitty plastic cooler that manages to be noticeble worse than Founders Edition, both noise and thermals not to mention MSi cheap up every thing, VRMs, Memory all of the cheapest and shittiest, this card is a no go by all means.

This card is only for those with a tiny case (so airflow is limited) or those going for water cooling (so price matters, not the cooler itself)

Look whenever people ask me what 1080 Ti to get the only thing I tell them is "all 1080 Ti are beasts, it won't matter if you're not picking about the cooling noise... JUST STAY AWAY FROM MSI AERO AS IT SUCKS" xD

Really any thing different you can find will be better that card is the reason many people hate on MSi over spending in gaming marketing and not in components quality.

If you don't overclock that CPU, it will bottleneck the 1080ti. I guarantee it. Even 4790k will get you better performance. Games love clocks. Why didn't you wait and get the 8700k? It's proven to beat the 1700 in every single task except Cinebench R15. And you'd get a lot more gaming performance out of it.. not to mention it overclocks like a champ.. meh

1700 isn't for gaming only.. it's more like streaming oriented or heavy multitasking.. idk, it's your money.

yes it will affect your fps in games since Pascal cards depends greatly on GPU Boost 3.0 which requires the card to be as cool as possible, therefore getting the literally worse cooling card will result in a hotter card... the hotter it is the less GPU Boost 3.0 can do its thing resulting in lower clocks which will end result in fps decrease.

Well i got the 1700 for multitasking. I wanted to start learing 2d animation, 3d modeling and animation, video editing and so on. For example to work in ps whinl i render a video  while wathcing a stream or even streaming myself

Jesus... just get the shitty card then... no offenses but it depends on how much it can be performance hit, already explained that is the ONE card you should avoid... if you still want to get it then go for it already just don't QQ later that your GTX 1080 Ti is getting beat by water cooled normal GTX 1080 later.

Well it is and isn't at the same time. I posted the build here before i got it and the only thing i got was abaut the ram and the power suply (it was a 700 and something watt and i changet it to the 800) and that was abaut it. So i am glad you showed up and told me is bad! I can change it in time and if it will be horrible in the future i will just change it at some point. But any information helps you know. At least i know it the future. Oh and by the way, what Ti do you recommend?

With ryzen, it loves faster ram, but currently it can only boot properly with 3000mhz, also if you have a 1700 why would you get a b350?
