Will this graphics card get bottlenecked by my CPU?

Hi,

Yesterday, my friend offered me the GeForce gt 630, and I really need a graphics card, but I don't know if my core i3 530 will bottlenecked the GeForce gt 630.

 

So my question is: will it be bottlenecked?

Actually, I have that GPU but switched it out a while ago; anyways, I paired it with my Core 2 Quad q6600 and it did fine (with some bottleneck) but in your case, it should do fine.

not even close...

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

The GT630 is not a beast of a card in of itself so it definitely won't be bottlenecked by the i3. In fact, its mobile counterpart used to be a popular choice for manufacturers when adding (non-gaming oriented) dedicated graphics to laptops. It's more of a media consumption GPU with power for some light gaming tasks.

That GPU couldn't even kill a fly let alone bottleneck your CPU.
