reminds me of dbrand having copyright 3017 at the bottom of all their websites and emails.

apparently they know and it was a conscious choice to make it 3017?

EDIT:

They've since changed it to 4017

Yay, now we have ultra books with quad core processors  and 16 Gigs of RAM, Linus will be pleased. Also i hope they make a gunmetal version of the Blade 14, that would be awesome.

Why was my first thought, "ah, something for Linus to drop"?

That meme has got way too much life left in it.

The device isn't meant for gaming on so it's actually a benefit to have the higher resolution display.

Rofl they are just "happen" to be releasing a V2 core at the same time:

IRVINE, Calif. – Razer™, the leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, today announced the new Razer Blade Stealth laptop featuring Intel’s latest 8th generation quad-core processor and the Razer Core V2 external graphics enclosure.

Pure coincidence, nothing more. /s

The Blade Stealth was designed to be an Ultrabook on the book on the go while also being a capable gaming/workstation device when connected to an external GPU enclosure. If you want a device that has both within the laptop, get a device like the Razer Blade 2017 or Dell XPS 15.

Way to backpedal lol, 3200 x 1800 still dumb at 13.3 inches forcing you to game at a lower res and if i'm not mistaken no "normal" resolution will map nicely on a 3200 x 1800 display.

If you did a 2x2 grid of 1600x900 it would become 3200x1800, the same resolution as the Razer Blade Stealth.

The real question is: does the laptop support the pixel mapping or will it just smudge it.

Processor Base Frequency: 1.80 GHz

Seems like usual razer trash to me ayy

Bruh, all the new 8th gen 15w CPUs have base clock speeds under 2 ghz because they're now quad cores. The 15w ones used to be dual cores; now we're getting double the cores for a 33% or so clock speed reduction, how is that trash?

If you call this trash, then you might as well go call the new XPS 13 and the new surface book 2 trash as well.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.
