HELP NEEDED to add a graphics card to a prebuilt PC.

I have recently purchased the Lenovo 300S-11IBR desktop computer. I noticed it had a bare pci slot so I decided I want to put in a graphics card for some light gaming. However, I have a few unknowns: what size the slot is, and what size the bracket is.

I have been getting some mixed information as to what size the slot is. Most sites agree it has a PCIe X 16  slot, but I am still not sure. Try page 29 of this link to start.

The bracket is even more of a mystery. It seems to be half-height, half length but I am not sure. The pictures are part of the guide for a graphics card replacement for the model, and a rear view:  59e42057c4f10_Screenshot2017-10-15at6_57_05PM.png.0ffe5c39c3c6a486eb69ace4bb15d64d.pngimage.png.07a4dba396b4ea0b45a02c79318bdeeb.pngMy model is the diagram on the left (11IBR).

Once we identify what will fit in the given gap, I would like some suggestions as to what card to buy. My budget is a soft $35. I would like one of the following: VGA, DVI, or a DisplayPort port (those are my monitor's inputs).

You need a special graphics card to fit that because its like half the height of a normal one. I'm not an expert but any normal card wont fit.

Yeah, the research I did do suggests it is called a low profile card. Any other suggestions are welcome :)

You can go with a 'low profile' graphics card like "XFX - AMD Radeon R5 220 2GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 Graphics Card" however searching that term could also make full height cards appear. Try 'low profile bracket'. The card is around 39 dollars USD.

you'll need an LP GPU, gtx 1050ti is the best with any LP variants.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

I appreciate the advice, but a 1050ti is a BIT out of budget. by $150

I'm not entirely sure but a 1050ti may not work in that slot if the bandwidth on the motherboard doesn't allow the PCI lanes that the card needs, it may not even post at that point but I have never tried on that generation of Celeron.

Thank you for your input. The only thing I am worried about now is power consumption. How do I view what PSU this PC has? The power cable goes into the mobo.

look on the power brick. it likely is a 65 or 90w unit. a gt 1030 will pull around 30-40w.

They say "low end", not "low profile" in the videos. But to be honest, I am going for both of those.

A meter? Like this? stalwart-testing-instruments-m550065-64_145.jpg. If so, how do I use it?
