What the hell LMG?

So, yesterday I posted a screenshot and some text under it on this very forum. The screeenshot was of blurred text that I read and I said everything that was on the screenshot down in the text. I didn't get any replies so I got worried it might have been deleted.

 

I went to my browsing history and found it so it wasn't a dream, and it was uploaded since it was the title of the webpage. I clicked on it and the link redirected me to the create new topic thing. I looked at my, so to speak, "resume" and I didn't find the post. Now, the blurred part of the video was cut out and I think the video was re-uploaded. Because I have something called a memory, I still remember what was on there, but as it seems, they are not cool with people knowing that even though they talked about it on the last wan show. This is where it use to be at that specific time!

I'm sorry, but I'm not quite understanding what you're saying is happening....

 

EDIT: After re reading I think I know what you're talking about. You're talking about the part in the video where the hangouts chat had a message blurred, right?

 

As far as I know this shouldn't violate any rules, so I would try contacting a mod if I were you

also the blurred text was removed from the video with a re-upload

I don't really care that that post was removed, what I care about is why.

The blurring was indeed awful, i was able to read most of it as well, enough to figure out what they were talking about

 

But then again these kinds of mistakes happen, somehow... (audio out of sync, audio level low, text wrong, etc etc...)

They really need better QC and even tho they have floatplane to catch these mistakes they somehow still end up on youtube!

They can edit, move and/or delete any of your posts at their will for any reason, they don't have to tell you about and its generally not a very good idea to ask why something was deleted. If they deleted it then they don't want it here so why would they want you asking them where it is.

 

Also if something is blurred incorrectly why would you go make a public post and copy out the blurred text? They blurred it for a reason and then you went and broadcast it anyway. You should count yourself lucky you didn't get any warning points.

I was hesitant about posting that, but then I figured it was intentionally terribly blurred since I could read it with no trouble

it was something like everyone not working on time-sensitive projects should go help out with moving stuff... so really nothing concrete

I can kinda understand why they would blur it but it's not a huge deal.

Probably because it contained details about something private or confidential. Normally mods do PM after removed post. But sometimes they just are busy and forget. Shoot a PM to some mod or admin (I'd try @Windspeed36 or @Whaler_99) and request them to give you reason.

 

But as general rule, if something is even partially blurred, not brightest idea to go figure content out and make post about it.

Your post was removed because it contained the transcription of the blurred text. It's still visible to moderators and to LMG, so the message is still visible to those who it concerns, but it was presumably blurred for a reason, so it was (presumably - not by me) removed to avoid drawing extra attention to it.
