Looking for a new laptop

Hello everyone

Now i am in college doing a bachelors in Cyber Security And Forensics so i am looking for a new laptop to purchase...My budget is around INR 60k or around $900USD so the best laptop configuration that i could find is an Acer Aspire 5 with i5 8th gen and an mx150 and a MSI PL62 with an i7 7700k with mx150..i am adding the links below

Now the thing is that the Acer one is around 770$ or INR50k and the MSI is around 920$

So now i need a suggestion as to which laptop to buy

I wanted a 1050 or 1050ti but both are out of my budget as far i could search.

I can purchase any other laptop or even wait 2-3 months if required

You can suggest me laptops on any site that delivers to india

The i7-7700HQ is more powerful than the i5-8520u even though both are quad core chips. Not sure how that'll show up in gaming be sure the MX150 will probably bottleneck the processors but if you need extra CPU power for programs/multitasking the MSI laptop would be a good choice.

It's 7700HQ

I'll avoid PL series as the build quality isn't that great

 

IMO an i5 8250U should be ok for your needs

Are you planning to game? If not, the MX150 is powerful enough for everyday tasks

 

If you continue to wait, only 8th gen 6 core HQ CPUs will come out so if you need it, you should wait. If you don't care about it, just grab a good laptop with 8250U or 7th gen HQ CPU
