Can't manually OC Gigabyte Z270 Gaming K3

Hi all,

For some reason, I am completely incapable of manually overclocking my 7700k cpu through the bios. I only get preset options (i.e 7700k 4.8ghz) and am completely unable to change chip voltage settings.

If anyone has experience with this board so that I can manually OC, please let me know.

Regards,

Fulcrous

Unfortunately it is not in the manual. My previous mobo was a gigabyte z97 d3h and I could manually clock the cpu and voltage. I am only getting preset options or auto unfortunately.

The issue is that i am physically not allowed to alter these settings even after going through advanced. I will get a photo indicating what isnt being allowed to be changed.

this is extremely hard to believe, i think if ud have a camera and personally do it together with me itl work just set the settings within seconds :v

the mobo is unlocked and allows all the changes, unless u dont have a 7700k and u have a 7700 instead ( non k version )

Which is why I am confused as well. It is a 7700K.

Practically all the settings are not adjustable.

While, yes it is in the manual, I physically cannot change it from auto. I do not understand why this is so difficult to comprehend. The stock bios did not allow me to change anything. Updated bios and still no ability to change settings.

Hence why I am asking if anyone has had experience with a mobo that should but would not allow changes to settings.

After much frustration I have figured it out.

+/- keys.

Unfortunately this mobo does not have a dropdown menu and that was where the issue lied.
