Need help picking a graphics

Alright, here we go.

Computer: HP Z220 CMT Workstation

OP: Windows 7 Pro

Speccy: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/5jZnwWzO2vcYNcKkoHoGawl

Budget: 500 USD (EDIT: $470)

Needs: Run most AAA games at 60 fps, 1080, 60 hertz. Potentially higher quality via super sampling. I plan to use it for gaming and perhaps some light 3d /Movie work. Mainly want to play indie games and the occasional AAA game. Want to play at max settings, unless the game is insane a la The Witcher 3. I asked Reddit and was recommended a GTX 1060, but I am wondering if perhaps I should go with a factory overclock??? I don't really mind a mild overclock if I really need it, but would really like to not have to do that. Not to mention if my motherboard can voltage overclock graphics cards.

Side note: as you can see I have 2 graphics cards as of now without SLI, each connected to a separate monitor. Are they each powering their own monitor? Also I just switched out a graphics card for these two, installed drivers using Geforce experience, is all good? I heard tell that you need to manually uninstall the old drivers.

Your budget is $500 for a GPU? Then get a 1080

+1

AMD basically isn't an option at this point, and NVidia only has one card at this price range, so you only have one choice.

Even if the 64 were at MSRP a 1080 is still a better card.

I don't agree with this statement.

Unless you are doing compute, the 1080 and 64 just go back and forth on who is faster, and the 64 has much higher power draw.

I would rather spend less if i can still get what i want. a 1080 is overkill I think. Also, MY fault completely, i do not have a budget of $500, I have budget of $470, i remembered incorrectly. a 1080 would work and it would be seriously future proofed, but from what i know of graphics cards (which isn't much) It seems overkill.

not to mention i am unsure if my case can fit a 1080, or if my core i7 will be the bottleneck.
