hey guys i made my first oc yesterday and whenever i turn in on stays on for 8 secs and turns off and then on and it just keeps in going i took everythingout and testes it with my motherboard ram cpu and my cooler and it still happens

Full specs? And what speed are you setting the OC too?

Removing everything and putting it back, will not reset your overclock. Or you can just buy another new computer.

look at  your motherboard manual, find  where they show how to reset the CMOS and do that following the steps EXACTLY

First, what are the specs?

 

Second, what are you overclocking in it? RAM? CPU? GPU?

 

Third, it is normal for a computer to cycle on and off multiple times trying to load an overclock. This is normally a sign of a bad overclock. When you turn it on, how many times does it cycle before you turned it back off? Are you able to get into BIOS? If you are then just turn down the overclock a bit. If you are not able to get anything on the screen at any point the do what Damascus above me suggested and find out how to reset the CMOS.

When you have a failed overclock and if your BIOS doesn't have the feature to disable the OC when it realizes it has failed then you need to reset the BIOS ether by finding the 3-pins on the board with a 2-pin jumper and moving the jumper over for a few seconds or by removing the coin cell battery for a little while and putting it back. (The latter option will require standby power to be removed by unplugging the computer from the wall or by turning off the switch on the back of the PSU if you have one.)

Clear the CMOS on the motherboard, double check your power connections to make sure they're properly attached.
