HDD 100% Read and Write 0 mbs/s

GMI

Hello, I am new to this forum and I don't speak very well english so i try to be as coherent as i can.

So i have a problem with my pc that it causes some mini freezes when i am gaming or under heavy load as rendering movies or something that stress the cpu, gpu and hdd.

When rendering or gaming the computer witll make like a cliking sound like when you turn off the pc, and in adobe premiere when rendering the remaining time stops and the hdd goes to 100% with 0 read and write speed, the PC does not have any problem it still works i can browse on chrome mozilla or watch some youtube, but the render stops and it continues after some time when the  HDD usage goes to normal.

The tricky part is that i tried everything and it seems i found the problem witch is absurd....WHENEVER I disconect the ethernet cable form my pc or when i turn it off from adapter settings these problems does not appear, it works perfectly fine...i tried changing my hddds and tried it one by one and they are all ok....if i try to render somethign with only one HDD and ethernet cable pluged in the problem is still there...I tried with a wireless adapter and this problem does not occur it works perfectly fine but with wirreless adapter i have lag and sometimes disconection form the internet....

The problem started the 3 day after i upgraded my internet form 12 Mbps to 500 Mbps

I had this problem before with freezes, the pc would become unusable, the only solution beeing force shut down, It happened only in games like GTA V and CS:GO but it was fixed with a 250 gb samsung ssd, but now i have minifreezes that cause some discomfort when playing something.

I forgot to mention:

When i install windows 10 or or 8.1 or 7 the same problem with the lan adapter....but the first day it works fine without freezing but after some time it starts to mini freeze with no updates done to windows and with only the drivers form the manufactor which is strange because it works fine at first...idk what is the problem.

All drivers are up to date...i tried different versions of drivers for every component, older versions latest versions the problem its not with the components it coming from the lan port...I even brought a new lan board and the problem is still there.

PC specs:

-Windows 10 Pro 64bit

-Intel Pentium g3260 3.3ghz dual core

-Ram 6gb DDR3(4gb+2gb kingstone)

-GPU NVIDIA Asus gt730 2gb 128bit DDR3

-3 HDD seagate 1T

-1 SSD Samsung 850 EVO 250GB

-PSU rated power 200W, max 460W

The system was pre-built I only added 2 HDD and 1 SSD  it has a year and a little since i bought it.

Temps are normal...I tried every stress test i checked my HDD they are in good standing.

Please every piece of information is welcome.

its called disc-ing

it sucks but it (could) mean a few things

1. the hard drive is just struggling to keep up with your workload

2. the hard drive is dying

3. there are background tasks running that are using all of your hard drives potential.

reinstalling windows temporarily worked for me. after a week or two it started disc-ing again

the only solution that im aware of is getting a new drive. i did it myself. i swapped my hard drive in my laptop for an SSD for this reason. i now use the hard drive as an external drive for the laptop and keep all my games on it. i havent had the issue in a long time now (2-3 months)

I wrote it in the post...i have 1 SSD and  3 HDD Seagate 1 came with the computer and the other 2 i brought them they are brand new they have 2 months, and the ssd 2 weeks.

I tried with each drive, only one connected at a time, one by one, every one of them with clean install of windows the problem persists its still there even with the ssd.

Mentioning again the problem is not there when i unplug my ethernet cable from the mother board or when i use a wireless adapter, i even brought a dedicated lan card for pci e but when i plug the ethernet cable the problem appears again.

This sounds like write protection. I know this can happen to thumb drives when they're dying but I don't know about mechanical HDDs.

Ok so different motherboard than mine but similiar. What I did was to increase ram to 8gb (which made the problem happen much less often), change drive (no solution) and eventually going back to windows 7 to this device. I did not found any solution, I pointed the problem to the motherboard but couldn't change it at the time so I tried going back to w7 and it stopped happening. If you want to try, make a dual boot with w7 just to check if that resolve the issue for you too.

When I searched for the problem I found some solutions with restoring virtual memory, removing windows search service and such.. they did not work for me but you might want to try.

The only thing that i did not try was changing the motherboard and i cannot test it.
