cpu locked at 800mhz

I resently had my 4690k i5 cpu get locked at 800mhz. thought it was wierd as its overclocked to 4409mhz. Tried disabeling speedstep etc. in uifi. Looked at power settings in windows. eventualt found out it was ai suites configured max cpu power setting that was messing it up. anybody knows a reason to use it?

yeah, aiSuite is really weird. just OC through BIOS next time.

Never pay attention to the task manager readings, they are incorrect.

Thats fast. Task manager always right. You have a powerful 6 GHZ i7 buddy. no need to upgrade for a while

You need to upgrade. serious bottleneck here
