Dedicated GPU Encoding with OBS?

So apparently on this install of Windows, AMD VCE encoding on my 7950 is selectively complete shit (sometimes records flawlessly, other times its an Office 97 slideshow). So without going too far into this, I have both a Radeon HD 7570 (which would need REALLY old drivers) and a GTX 480 laying around and I was wondering if there was a way to make OBS use one of them dedicated to encoding the video. I don't do anything crazy (1080p 60FPS @ 30Mbps), but my CPU would royally choke if I tried doing the encoding on it, and Quick Sync isn't up to the task either (and it often has pretty poor quality even at high bitrates). Tips or tricks would be appreciated.

the GTX 480 is out of the question. Try the 7570. I think it's based on GCN 1.0 and so it should technically work.

the 7570 migh work for you, you could try CPU encodeing too, worked flawlessly on my I5 4690K i had

His main rig is a Pentium G3258 (I looked at his profile cause I'm not a lazy skrublord)

Again, it doesn't have the oomfh.

7570 is still TeraScale 2.

It was already set for D3D11, but I downloaded the VCE plugin from here and that more or less replaced what came with Studio and somehow fixed it.

That's what I was using in the first place, but apparently the plug-in bundled with Studio was borked somehow and the version I downloaded fixed it.
