Hey guys!

Searching for the worst and cheapest of every bit of hardware imaginable to built "THE WORST COMPUTER EVER!" for a possible YouTube video.

I know this might sound a bit strange, seeing as 99% of pc users are trying to make the best system ever. But I mean, who wants a working system anyway?

Anyway, a few things I've been able to find so far are:

Intel Celeron M Processor

NVIDIA’s GeForce 7600GT

HP mini-ITX 5188-5155 Desktop Motherboard Intel Socket 479 945GT Chipset DD

I'm not sure if the cpu was originally in laptops, but it was released in 2004 and was as shit as they get.

Ill be booting off a usb (hopefully) and I've got a power supply and case somewhere. Still need to find some ram, got no idea what I'm looking for since this tech is so old (ddr or ddr2?)

Anyway, Cheers

*UPDATE*

Found some new parts:

Intel Pentium Processor E2200 CPU

256mg DDR2 533MHZ

DELL OPTIPLEX 780 SFF MOTHERBOARD INTEL Q45 CHIPSET SOCKET LGA775

Gigabyte nVidia G210 1GB Graphics Card

If anyone has anything weaker, let me know :)

Anyone can use mis-matched parts and call it the worst computer ever because they obviously won't work, in which case i think this a bit of a pointless thread.

Worst would be something along the lines of a Pentium Dual Core with a Fermi GTX 480.

And a low quality PSU.

a GTX 480 is slightly superior to a GTX 750ti... so still delivers too much performance to be defined as bad even if it was a very power hungry card with known thermal issues.

Why so generous with the ram and the power supply?

The worst computer could be made for less than $25 if you buy all used parts.  Do some craigslist digging and look for a free working hdd and like an amd apu bundle

Id say power supply, ram, and even cpu could be dropped down further. As for the case, well.... Why not a shitty box. Would go well with the hardware
