Are any of today's consoles able to output native 4K?

Native 4K in playing back blu-rays, and movies, the Xbox one S can do that.

other than that, the Xbox One X can play games in native 4K, which is actually really damn impressive.

Native 4K in some games on the PS4 pro is also possible.

Some games are.

Stuff like the new Forza are native 4K on the Xbox one X, which is honestly a really powerful machine.

Basically an RX 580 but a bit more powerful, which can definitely play games at 4K native, especially with console optimizations.

All can output native 4K

 

But for games they are still a bit on the low/slow side. 

So only some games can be run on 4K...
