I paid close to 500 for my first 120gb ssd .... times have changed

Its all about those volumetric clouds

What I paid for my SSD is about what a R9 280X is worth today. People buying today are getting so much more for their SSD purchasing dollar.

that is why I waited and I'm still waiting.   I really like to purchase a Samsung 1TB ssd if I can.....that is when the prices fall enough for me to feel comfortable enough to purchase one.

I picked up a 840 500gb for that price on vlack friday of 2012 so nothing new there.

I got my 840Evo 250Gb for a little over $200NZ on Amazon shortly after Black Friday. That was such a good deal for NZ. $1 per gig is decent, 0.90c is good. =[

$300 for 500 GB SSD.  Yes dance in the street about this. LOL .... whatever!

It may be cheaper than it used to be but far cry from the pricing of hard drives.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Yep, I'm waiting for prices to fall even more. As much as I want a 1TB SSD, I can't justify paying $500 for one!
