Posted September 1, 2017 Define "leftover" parts. They have warehouse full of parts. They literally have bin full of just Intel stock coolers. They could probably build 10+ sick gaming rigs just with "leftover" parts and still get few franken-PCs mixed in. exactly - what's the definition of "leftover parts" here ? if i'm talking about my PC made from "leftover parts" i mean GTS 250, Pentium 4 660, DDR2 RAM and a 160 gb WD black from the SATA 2 era. going through my shelf i could possibly come up with one more build based off another pentium 4 660 and a passive cooled GTX 8500 or some radeon HD4000, moar DDR2 ram and so on. now when the LTT people go "shelf shopping" for old dust collectors the outcome would probably be very different. i expect a system that blows my main rig right out of the water.
